I woke up late.

I woke up late; I was all alone in my house. Except for few servants, there was no one else in the house. The previous night I hosted a party in my house and the reason for that party was the end of my school life. I completed my school studies and now I was aiming for my passion, as my carrier. I had no interest in college studies, but I was afraid that I will have to go to college as my father believes in higher studies. I belong to a much-known family in Uttrakhand, India. My family has been rich from several generations. My great grandfather was the prince of ten villages in Uttrakhand and since then my family has handled throne. However, now it’s all democracy, still, the citizen of those villages comes to my father before visiting the court. My father believes in Social Work and that is the reason, the whole state respects him the most. My family has several businesses and due to those reasons I rarely see my father at home. Every weekend my parents are out of station for some business or for some social work. And I spend most of my time alone in the house, but I take advantage of my parents’ absence and I can throw a party whenever I want.

I was making plans for the night with my girlfriend when my father called me; he asked me what I wanted as a gift from him, as I have completed my school life with high grades. I was able to hear his excitement and proud in his voice. I was the only one in my whole family who has completed schooling, and my father was proud of that. I was afraid to tell him that I didn’t want to go to college, not because I had fear of him, but because he has always fulfilled my every wish and I respect him most in the world.

The previous night was full of wild things, Northern region is famous for one thing and that is the quality of grass and weeds, is super strong that no one remembers anything after hitting this stuff. I was pretty confused; I told two of the servants to clean up the mess, and meanwhile sitting on the terrace I was thinking what to do next with my life. I wanted to live my passion, but I couldn’t face my father and deny his dreams. He dreamt me as an engineer, but all I wanted to do was cooking and sketching, these are the two things that I am best at.

Next Day my parents were coming to town, and I was pretty sure what my father will be saying to me, so I made up mind and with some courage I decided to tell him, what I want to do next, but if he doesn’t like my idea, I will not argue with him, and will do as he wants. The night went really great as I was tired due the stuff I took the previous night.
